The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a graduate degree program designed for individuals holding non-teaching baccalaureate degrees in appropriate fields who want to earn teacher certification for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (birth-Kindergarten), Elementary Education, middle grades, secondary or P-12 levels.
You may apply at any time for coursework beginning in the next semester. Cohorts begin annually in August and January. The deadlines to receive your application materials are Decemeber 1 and August 1.
